1 and 2 are the front two cylinders, and 5 and 8 are companion cylinders. I wonder if that cam has 5 and 8 swapped? Usually if there is a swap it's usually 4 and 7 though. You may want to check the firing order of the cam and make sure the ignition order and the cam order match. Just a thought.
