After this Dave misses tx2k22 decides he needs full chassis car so tears mustang apart and get 25 2 chassis done as he starts to assemble for tx2k23 hex decides he needs billet block to make real power to go with new chassis due to delays billet engine arrives week before and car isn’t done. So maybe 2024 .
I saw the gray foxbody in the thumbnail image at foxtoberfest in Charlotte NC back in October, and that pro mod firebird at 12:00 has an unbelievable 1200 cubic inch displacement.
It’s funny how some shiny nice looking race car will have a 6 inch cowl induction type of hood for clearance and still cut holes in it for the intake manifold or charge pipe. I guess it’s so the driver can see the track but still, just put an 8 inch cowl hood on it!!!
What was the engine and trans combo in that Ticon sponsored MKIV Supra? I hope it didn't have just a billet 2JZ and he run a 295 instead of a 275 which is the only reasons why I see that car having to have such a heavy weight penalty but even with a full billet block he should be able to weigh less than 3150 because there is No Way that an all billet 2JZ will make 3500+HP and that is what some of them cars in LDR are making but they have to weigh just as much if not just a little more than that Supra on a GREAT DAY is only making between 2250-2500 and that is with twins, a compound setup or a triple turbo setup but I'm not sure how that works for a 4&6cylinder and Rotary car's or Diesel for that matter I'm not sure what type of weight breaks or weight penalties they get for whatever type of engine, trans, and power adder setup they are running in LDR I only know the basics for small and big blocks and 275 vs 295 tires in that class
This has got to have your fired up dave, TX2k LETS GO
I sure hate we missed it. Only missed 3 since they started
Let’s go back
Great track coverage. Thanks again.
For only catching some of the reading the stuff you did catch was awesome!
Those cars are insane , it's incredible what they do. Thank you for sharing the cool video . Happy Birthday
That's bullshit Duck is going to have to run E1 at night all that hard work and then they have to run in the heat of the day!
Straight monsters..
David Van Voris Great Video I'm glad you had a great time watching those Insane Cars and I hope you can make it to TX2K22
Yes sir!! Make that drive every other year, heading to see family in NC.
I live about an hour from SGMP and have been to about 8 of Ducks races. Best radial races on the planet!

Looked like a real slippery track for these guys. 80 percent of the cars were peddling like a toddler on a tricycle…
