By day 2, for the most part, the cars that were destined to break already have. Some of them found parts, got fixed and are trying again. Determined. The drivers have figured out the track prep, everyone’s had practice now and things run more smoothly. This is the day where the ladder really takes shape. Most drivers have qualified and a few positions shuffle around.

The first few runs are pretty rough because I haven’t acclimated to the blasted cold and I’m shivering relentlessly despite all the layers. I get it figured out quick so bear with me. I’m better prepared this time with memory cards and batteries so the A90 and EcoBoost classes are now completely documented. This is not at all what I set out to do, but found it necessary because I was prepared enough to capture what might be these racers’ only footage of their runs? If I can’t bring a car and document it I might as well make myself useful and document everyone else.
