They built this LS car in 3 days vs BeerMoney – one of the fastest “no-prep” Mustangs in racing. Lyle Barnett Grudge Racer. 1991 Ford Mustang LS Swap vs 1986 Mustang LS Swapped named “Beer Money.”

1st Race: stock 5.3L LS (stock internals) vs megamod 6.2L LS Modded turbocharged monster on Methanol
2nd Race: 5.3L LS Turned Procharged (stock internals) Motor vs 6.2L LS Mega-modded big Turbo running on Methanol

LYLE BARNETT: NHRA Pro Mod Racer (and no-prep grudge racer)
Both his father and grandfather bracket raced through the ’80s. When he was born in 1990, racing slowed down for them and sped up for me.

He started drag racing at 16 years old and quickly had success in both bracket racing and small tire radial racing. Unfortunately, he was involved in a serious crash in 2015. He was severely burned and his recovery was seen as nothing short of a miracle. After a brutal recovery process, his team returned even stronger.

Despire having been to hell and back, his team’s future plans are bright! His hope is that his story provides inspiration and a positive influence to the drag racing community.
