2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV Reveal Presentation

The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona made its highly anticipated public debut during the Roadkill Nights event on August 10, 2024, at the M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Michigan. This event marked the first time fans could see the next-generation Charger Daytona up close, including both the R/T and Scat Pack variants. The Scat Pack version, touted as the world’s quickest and most powerful muscle car, boasts an impressive 670 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds.

A key highlight of the event was the reveal of the Charger Daytona’s Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system, an innovative feature designed to emulate the deep, rumbling sound traditionally associated with muscle cars, despite the vehicle being fully electric. This patent-pending system uses advanced transducers and radiators to produce a visceral sound experience that responds dynamically to the vehicle’s performance, providing the driver with a tactile and auditory connection to the car. The exhaust system is customizable, with modes like Sport, Drag, and Track delivering different levels of acoustic intensity, while a Stealth mode allows for silent operation.

The Roadkill Nights event also offered a range of activities for attendees, including drag racing, Dodge thrill rides, and the Direct Connection Grudge Race, where automotive influencers competed in HurriCrate-powered vehicles. The new Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system represents a significant step in Dodge’s transition to electric vehicles, maintaining the brand’s legacy of powerful and engaging muscle cars.
