  1. 2 Freakin hundred $$$$. Either you're too good a mechanic or you found a real lost jem. Good job my friend. Enjoy the ride.

  2. It's good that you have been able to pull it apart and put it back together again to get it going but really it deserves a proper restoration. I had the chance many years ago to buy a cheap late 80's 1500 Goldwing and do it. Possibly the same model you got here. Unfortunately I was beaten to it by only a few minutes. Just as I arrived to pick it up it was going out on someone else's trailer. The bit that really pissed me off was the guy who got it only wanted to rip the motor out of it and use it in some sort of off road buggy and not do a restoration of the bike. Man I wanted to rip this guy apart for doing that to such a lovely Motorbike.

  3. That was a serious project.. check that timing belt.. have no idea why you didnt get new tires when you had back off.. 20 year tires on a 1000lb machine…

  4. Its dangerous to rebuild something like this if you make a mistake could cost someone there life,i dont think putting a 40 year old rear tire back on is a good idea yikes
